Refund Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

ue-cortex is sold as a one-time purchase of $99 USD. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders and issues all refunds. This page describes the conditions under which we will approve a refund request.

1. 14-Day Window

You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase date. Requests made after 14 days are not eligible under this policy (statutory rights, where they apply, are unaffected — see §4).

2. What Qualifies

Because ue-cortex is delivered as an immediately-downloadable digital product, refunds within the 14-day window are granted when there is a genuine technical defect that prevents the Software from working as described, and that defect cannot be resolved through reasonable support effort. Examples: the orchestration server fails to install or run as documented, or a core feature described on this website does not function.

3. What Doesn't Qualify

  • Dissatisfaction with the quality of LLM-generated code — output quality depends on the third-party LLM provider and model you choose, which is outside our control and disclaimed in the EULA.
  • Costs, limits, or issues with your own third-party LLM API account (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, or a locally hosted model).
  • Issues caused by your own Unreal Engine, Claude Code, or local development environment that are unrelated to a defect in ue-cortex itself.
  • Simple change of mind after the files have been downloaded and used.

4. Statutory Rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days. For instantly-delivered digital content like ue-cortex, this right can be waived by your explicit consent to immediate delivery at checkout, as permitted under EU/UK consumer law. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right that applies to you and cannot be waived.

5. How to Request a Refund

Contact us via our support channel with your Paddle order/transaction ID and a description of the issue. We will first try to resolve the problem directly; if we can't, we will approve the refund and Paddle will process it back to your original payment method on Paddle's standard processing timeline.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above and will not apply retroactively to a purchase already made.
