Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of ue-cortex(the "Software") and this website. They form an agreement between you and AStore++, the developer of ue-cortex ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using ue-cortex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Software.

1. What ue-cortex Is

ue-cortex is a downloadable collection of Claude Code agent definition files and an MCP orchestration server for Unreal Engine 5 game development. It is delivered as a digital download immediately after purchase — there is no physical product and no subscription. Using it requires your own Claude Code installation and your own third-party LLM API access (see §5).

2. Orders and Payment

ue-cortex is sold as a one-time purchase for $99 USD. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles payment collection, applicable sales tax/VAT, and appears as the merchant on your card or payment statement. Paddle also handles customer service inquiries related to your order and payment.

3. License to Use the Software

Your purchase grants you a license to use ue-cortex under the terms of the End User License Agreement (EULA), which you affirmatively agree to at checkout. The EULA — not this document — governs what you may and may not do with the Software, including restrictions on redistribution and resale. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the EULA regarding use of the Software, the EULA controls.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Third-Party Services

ue-cortex requires a third-party LLM API key (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, or a locally hosted model) to function, and generates code intended for use with Unreal Engine. You are solely responsible for obtaining and paying for your own API credentials and for complying with the terms of service of the LLM provider and of Epic Games, Inc. (for Unreal Engine). We are not a party to your agreement with any such third party, and we do not control or guarantee the output of any LLM provider.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ue-cortex or this website for any unlawful purpose, to circumvent the license restrictions in the EULA, or to interfere with the operation of this website or the checkout process.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND THIS WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE QUALITY OF LLM-GENERATED CODE DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON THE THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER AND MODEL YOU CHOOSE AND IS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE, THIS WEBSITE, OR YOUR PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Software or this website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent via our support channel. Questions about a specific order or payment are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.
