Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data this website (ue-cortex.dev, operated by AStore++, "we", "us") and the checkout process collect, and how it is used. The ue-cortex software itself runs locally on your machine and does not send telemetry back to us — the only network calls it makes are the ones you configure it to make, to your chosen LLM provider.

1. Data We Collect

  • Contact form. If you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent directly from your browser to our form processor, Formspree — this data does not pass through our own servers.
  • Purchases.Checkout is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle collects your billing name, email, payment details, and country directly — we never see or store your card details. After a successful purchase, Paddle notifies us of the transaction, and we log the buyer's email and transaction ID server-side. This log exists solely as a support fallback, so we can manually resend your download link if you don't reach the confirmation page.
  • Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may collect standard server request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and operational purposes, independent of anything we configure.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and this website does not include any tracking scripts of our own. Paddle's checkout overlay may set its own cookies for fraud prevention — that is governed by Paddle's own privacy policy, not this one.

2. How We Use This Data

We use the data above to: deliver the software you purchased, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse of the download link, and comply with legal obligations (such as tax records Paddle is required to keep).

3. Who We Share Data With

  • Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing and Merchant of Record for all purchases.
  • Formspree — contact form submissions.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Cloudflare R2 — generates the time-limited download link for your purchase; it receives no personal data, only a request for a file.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

4. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained by Formspree per their own retention policy. Purchase records are retained by Paddle as required for tax and legal compliance. Our own server-side purchase log (email + transaction ID, kept as a support fallback) is retained only as long as needed to resolve delivery issues for that purchase.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. For anything related to your payment or billing information, Paddle is the data controller — contact Paddle directly. For anything you sent us directly (such as a contact form message), reach out via our support channel and we will respond.

6. Children's Privacy

This website and the Software are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
